CSCS Green Card - NVQ Level 1 - Labourer

This card will be required when applying for an unskilled job on the site.

As a beginner in the field, it is very important to know the safety and health rules in order to be able to work in the most optimal conditions.

Therefore, employers will check if you own a CSCS green card as a guarantee of work safety training.

To work on a construction site in UK you must hold a CSCS card to demonstrate that you have obtained a knowledge-based qualification and met the health safety and environment requirements.

Once you have this card, you will prove that you have:

• Attended a training course on construction site safety
• Obtained a certificate in: Health and Safety in Construction Environment.
• Passed the CITB test.

The CSCS Labourer card is also useful if you want to renew a CSCS Red Card temporarily.

The card is valid for 5 years and to renew it you have to apply as it were for the first time.
